Chiropractic

Chiropractors use a range of techniques to reduce pain, improve function and increase mobility, including hands-on manipulation of the spine. They work on the basis
that interference within the nervous system can affect your body’s ability to function fully.
These methods of adjustment re balance the body, encouraging the nervous system to function more efficiently and stimulate the body’s own ability to heal.

Who can benefit from Chiropractic?

The majority of people will visit a Chiropractor when they are in pain. Some of the most common conditions where patients seek relief from chiropractic treatment include:

General, acute & chronic backache
Joint pain, including hip & knee pain from osteoarthritis
Neck pain following injury (whiplash)
Elbow pain and tennis elbow
Shoulder complaints
Minor sports injuries
Rotator cuff injuries
Sciatica
Headaches and Migraine headaches
Tension & inability to relax
Muscles spasms

However, you might not know the exact reason your are in pain, other than it started suddenly or has been there for a period of time.

Michelle practices The McTimoney method of Chiropractic; a gentle and precise method of chiropractic which allows her to use a whole body approach so that she can understand where and how you may have arrived at this point. She will aim to identify layers of change and patterns of behaviour that your body has become accustomed to and encourage your body to remove the layers, so that your nervous system and healing processes function more effectively.
