Reset & Renew Mini Retreat- £60

Spring (rather than January) is the perfect time to reset your mind and body for new year goals, aspirations and healthier living. In nature the soil is beginning to warm, the bulbs are out and nature is renewing.

Our mini retreat is the perfect position for moving forwards, with a spring reset and a kick start for your body and mind.

 

We’ll start the morning with Rachael HIne who will take you through a series of Pranayama breathing practices designed to provide a pause for body and mind. This session will focus on techiques to increase energy that you can also take away and apply whenever you’re experiencing a late morning/afternoon slump.

 Following this, a Qigong practice focussing on rebirth and renewal with focus on the liver and gallbladder meridians . In Chinese medicine the liver and gall bladder are organs that help to foster clear vision and a realisation of goals/ purpose and focus.

 After a short break and a cleansing juice, sit down with Louise Lambert-Day, Functional Medicine Nutritionist, as she shares the principles for supporting the body’s detox processes through foods and lifestyle practises aswell as how we can use this as a ‘reset’ for us to move forward with a blueprint for optimum health and increased vitality and energy.

Learn some simple ways to reduce toxic load on your body and how small changes can reap large rewards for both mental and physical energy.

Lastly, a Yang Yin Yoga session to open and balance the flow of active and passive energy for the new season. The Yang is repetitive and flowing, building up internal energy with a focus on power, strength and stamina for mind, body and spirit. The Yin poses work deeper into the connective structure of the body and the joints, longer held poses with a focus on the tissues around the hips, side body and inner thighs to stimulate the flow of energy along the pathways of the liver and gallbladder meridians.

We close our morning with the opportunity to ask any questions and time to pause, linger and connect with others with a final cuppa before heading home.

This event is non-refundable within two weeks of the event date. You won’t receive a refund or be able to reschedule/receive a credit within this time. If you cancel prior to this we can refund you minus a 10% transaction cost.

COVID-19

As you can imagine, organising events at this time is more of a challenge than usual. We want to provide you with Wellness days to enjoy even though we are only able to do this with much smaller numbers than normal. But, as the situation is currently ever changing and cancellations or changes to schedules are more likely on both sides it has to be the responsibility of both parties for providing the event as well as booking onto them. As such:

If we are unable to proceed due to a Covid-19 lockdown we will rearrange the event and provide you with a credit for this. If you are unable to attend the new date we will refund you minus a 10% transaction/admin fee.
