Nicolette Hayers
Nicolette has over 15 years experience as a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist working with a wide variety of patients both in sport and for every day aches and pains including:
Athletes following a training programme for events including couch to 5k, marathon and triathlon, from those starting out with their first event, improving their PB and elite athletes
Supporting regular sporting and fitness activities such as gym, golf, tennis, hockey and horse-riding
Minor sports and overuse injuries
Works closely with a team of physiotherapists to complement rehabilitation of injuries and post surgery including hip and knee replacement
Musculoskeletal dysfunction including neck, shoulder and lower back pain
Desk workers who have developed muscular issues, particularly, with the recent increase in home working
Chronic pain conditions including Fibromyalgia and Ehlers Danlos.
Nicolette uses a blend of specialist techniques including deep tissue massage, stretching, myofascial release, kinesiology taping, cupping and medical acupuncture. She finds that applying specific techniques blended with traditional massage movements assists in relieving muscle tension and increasing movement. Her approach is patient led and each treatment is tailored to an individual’s needs.
Nicolette is a keen runner and has completed numerous events over the years including 10ks, half marathons and 2 marathons, including The London Marathon. Her next running goal is to complete the Snowdonia Marathon Eryri in October 2023. She also enjoys swimming, strength training and loves the outdoors.
